THE RIVALS COMMUNITY EVENT - Tesco Fund

Train Station Project C.I.C has been successfully shortlisted by Tesco to receive a cash boost from the Tesco Bags of Help initiative.

Tesco teamed up with Groundwork to launch its community funding scheme, which sees grants of £4,000, £2,000 and £1,000 – all raised from the 5p bag levy – being awarded to local community projects. Three groups in every Tesco region have been shortlisted to receive the cash award and shoppers are being invited to head along to Tesco stores to vote for who they think should take away the top grant.

The Rivals Community Event aims to expose participants to fun, team fitness activities in a competitive environment - in the hope of inspiring healthier and more active communities.

In order to vote, you must…

  1. Purchase any item from one of the participating Tesco stores listed below

  2. Collect a blue token from the cashier or self-service area

  3. Place your token into the Train Station Project C.I.C. collection box

Voting is open in stores listed below throughout January and February 2019

To vote, you will need to make a purchase within store of any value. You will receive one token per transaction and it's not necessary to purchase a carrier bag in order to receive a token. If you are not given a token, please ask a member of staff.
